Creamy Burrito Casserole

- 1 lb ground beef, or ground turkey
- 1⁄2 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 package (1 1/4 ounce) taco seasoning mix
- 6 large flour tortilla
- 1 can (16 ounce) refried beans
- 2 cup (up to 3) taco cheese, or cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
- 4 oz sour cream
- 1 jarred hot sauce, optional
Directions

- Brown ground meat and onion; drain.
- Add taco seasoning and stir in refried beans.
- In a separate bowl, mix soup and sour cream.
- Spread 1/2 sour cream mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish.
- Tear up 3 tortillas and place over sour cream mixture.
- Put 1/2 of meat and bean mixture on top of tortillas.
- Add a layer of cheese.
- Sprinkle with hot sauce if using.
- Repeat the layers.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20-30 minutes.
